Moldavite is a rare, olive-green vitreous silica projectile glass formed by a meteorite impact in southern Germany (Nördlinger Ries crater) approximately 15 million years ago. As a type of tektite, it is found primarily in the Czech Republic and is highly valued by collectors for its natural, sculpted, and often spikey texture.
